Dave Gallivan
Dave has over 40 years experience of walking and caving he holds the MLTB Mountain Walking Leaders Award and he is also a nationally qualified Caving Instructor (CIC). Dave has been involved for many years in the Cave and Fell Rescue teams in the Dales. He has been an Underground Controller and now is a Duty Controller. He has been on numerous expeditions throughout the world and most recently climbed the summit of Mount Cotopaxi in Ecuador, the highest active volcano in the world. Dave can often be seen on television as he is recognised as an expert in and around The Yorkshire Dales.

Jaro Michalko
Jaro is a born and bred Slovakian and nobody knows the Tatras like him. He holds the UIAGM Mountain Guide Qualification and is an instructor in the team of the National Association of Mountain Guides. For 14 years he has been an active professional member of the Tatra Mountain Rescue Service. Expeditions have taken him around the world including: The Himalayas, South America, Mount McKinley, Mount Blanc and the Matterhorn. He is also an accomplished Alpine Skier and mountain instructor as well as a specialist ice climber.
Jaro says:
